Development of Honeycomb Aluminum Sheet Construction Industry

Honeycomb aluminum plateWith the development of the construction industry, various complex forms of curtain wall in the building more and more widely used, hyperboloid is one of the more widely used. The scale of the hyperboloid curtain wall project is large, the construction technology requirements are high, and the design, production, construction and installation of the curtain wall are difficult. At the same time, the open aluminum honeycomb panel system is also widely used. Compared with the traditional closed aluminum honeycomb panel system, the open aluminum honeycomb panel system has better deformation ability, waterproof performance and appearance effect. However, due to the complex construction process, it faces many difficulties when it is used for hyperboloid curtain wall. Therefore, based on specific examples, this paper analyzes and discusses the construction process, construction characteristics and difficulties of the hyperboloid open aluminum honeycomb panel curtain wall from a technical point of view.

1.Project Overview

The plane layout of the project takes the form of Taiji Bagua with a long history in China as the basic element, which integrates the mutual penetration of Taiji Bagua and the sympathetic graphic intention of yin and yang into the plane layout of the building. Under the condition of meeting the basic functions, the plane layout and the design of traffic flow lines are more smooth and reasonable, and the design of the plane layout and traffic flow lines are better integrated with the spatial form of the building.(图1)。

2.construction difficulties

This project is a hyperboloid curtain wall with high degree of freedom. It adopts the design of open honeycomb aluminum plate system, which brings certain difficulties to the construction, which is embodied in the following aspects:

(a)The curtain wall design task is large. The Owner has provided only a three-dimensional model of the facade, and the entire project is required to be designed and constructed based on this model. And the owner of the project quality requirements are higher, the vertical seam requirements of the open aluminum honeycomb panel system.6mmRequirements for transverse joints12mmTo a certain extent, it increases the difficulty of design and construction. This requires the designer to deepen the design and calculate the size of the curtain wall components. Key nodes also need to be repeatedly reviewed for accurate blanking and installation control.

(b)Hyperboloid curtain wall material processing and transportation requirements are high. Due to the characteristics of the surface model, the difficulty of material processing, production and testing is increased. In addition, the requirements for stacking and transportation of materials are also high.

(c)High construction accuracy requirements. The installation accuracy of aluminum honeycomb panels must be controlled at the millimeter level to ensure uniform size of aluminum honeycomb panels, and the premise of high installation accuracy of aluminum honeycomb panels is that the error of skeleton installation is small. How to ensure a high installation accuracy is a difficult point for this project.
